Thousands of people evacuating a festival in New York were soaked in a thunderstorm while waiting for shuttle busses home.

Lightning cracked around the festival-goers as they left the Governors Ball that was cancelled due to bad weather on Sunday, June 2.

According to the filmer, the buses never arrived: "The majority of those in attendance were made to walk to the bridge back to Manhattan in the storm, with no guidance or assistance from festival staff."
