Man uses instant noodles to fix everything from cars to bowls

CHINA —A man in China has gone viral after he shared DIY videos of himself using ramen noodles to repair random items on Chinese social media site Douyin[b], The South China Morning Post reports.
In one video, the man appears to be crushing the noodles and then using them to patch up a broken part of the bowl. He adds some glue, waits for it to cool and he then smooths it out with a chisel, paints over it and the bowl is as good as new.
In another video, the man attempts to repair a car dent with the instant noodles. He uses the same method of crushing the noodles, then adds some adhesive onto the dent. Next, he shaves off the excess noodles, smooths it out once again and sprays over the dent.
But ramen noodles are not the only trick he's got up his sleeve. Previous videos have shown him using egg shells, tissue papers and even oreo cookies to fix everyday items, according to the South China Morning Post.
Some internet commentators have said that the instant noodles may be good enough for a temporary fix. However, others have raised doubts on how authentic these videos actually are.
According to Newsweek, the video may have been sped up or edited in a certain way to make it appear as if he was actually repairing items with instant noodles.
