After being closed for almost three years, a museum featuring exhibits about the June 4, 1989, Tiananmen Square crackdown has reopened at a new location in Hong Kong’s Mong Kok district. The museum features a new exhibition created under the theme “memory, justice and hope,” to help mark 30 years since Chinese troops advanced on Beijing’s Tiananmen Square to put a violent end to pro-democracy protests.
