Interview: Ali Carter (Sydney) talks living and making music in New York.

the AU review met New York based Sydney artist Ali Carter while she was in Australia before she returns stateside to record her debut album.
She's performing an unmissable once-off intimate show at The Newsagency in Marrickville, Sydney on December 12th.
The talented singer/songwriter is no stranger to the music industry machine - in 2000 she recorded four songs for a CD compilation, which were promptly added to high rotation on triple j. Over the past decade she has toured the globe, performing in cabaret bars, pubs and clubs - in addition to spending time studying under notable jazz luminaries.
