Luka Modric had an extraordinary 2017/2018 season! For Real Madrid, the midfielder once again reached the peak of the game by winning a third Champions League title in a row. In the wake of this, the Croat led his country to the World Cup final. Which resulted in him winning the 2018 Ballon d’Or!

Unfortunately, the 2018/2019 season has not been quite as good. Modric has not been able to maintain his level and has fallen into a state of crisis along with the rest of Real Madrid’s players.
