On 2 May 2008, Cyclone Nargis ripped across the coast of Myanmar, also known as Burma, bringing misery and devastation to millions of people. The cyclone, which was the worst to hit Asia in more than a decade, killed more than 84 thousand people and more than 53,000 remain missing. Six months later, the relief effort has ended and the recovery effort has begun.
