Doberman Pinscher Saves Owner from Snake while Filming

As I filmed this video to tell people about my dogs new obsession, he did an amazing thing. He found a snake in the grass directly behind where I was standing. Kruz is a 5 year old Doberman Pinscher with a strong protection dog instinct that he has recently directed toward snake hunting. The snake he found in this video turned out to be a copperhead. Copperhead are pit vipers and are poisonous.
We live in the country where snakes are a constant threat so this new behaviour is a welcome asset.
