South Korea's finance minister says the next promising sector that could boost the economy is bio-health.
Government officials from various ministries held a meeting with biosector companies on Wednesday afternoon to dicsuss measures to help boost the biohealth sector in the country.
Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki said the government will soon lay out a comprehensive plan for innovation... focused on R&D, marketing and deregulation.
The bio-health industry is expected to grow at an average of five-point-four percent a year to reach 10 trillion U.S. dollars in global market size by the year 2022.
