For the families living near a landfill in Sandakan, they often keep an eagle eye on recyclable items to earn some cash for a decent meal.

The trash at the landfill is a source of income and even food for an estimated 200 families, who are mostly undocumented.

Newly-elected Sandakan MP Vivian Wong, when contacted, said she will try to find the best solution for everyone.
