Halloween Snacks - Mummy Sausage Rolls | Good Housekeeping UK

These mummy sausage rolls are the perfect spooky Halloween snacks for parties. Kids will love this new take on a simple sausage roll, delicious hot or cold.

Ingredients
10 chipolata sausages
320 g sheet ready-rolled shortcrust pastry
1 medium egg, beaten
1 tsp. American yellow mustard
Serve with extra mustard or ketchup, if you like

Directions
Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6. Unroll pastry and cut lengthways from short end to short end to create 10 strips. Wrap a strip around each sausage, leaving a space at the top for a ‘face’. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining sausages. Chill for 20min.

Brush pastry with egg. Cook in the oven for 25-30min, until golden. Leave to cool a little, then dot ‘eyes’ with the mustard onto the sausage using the end of a teaspoon. Serve with extra mustard and ketchup, if you like.
