Four in ten young, single Koreans say they don't think they'll ever be able to buy their own home.
According to a survey conducted by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs,... some 90 percent of Koreans aged between 25 and 39 said they do think they need to own a home.
But around half of those, or 44 percent of the total, said it seems impossible, mostly for economic reasons.
Just 11 percent said they don't think they need to own a home.
Pessimism was particularly high in urban areas where, despite government efforts, property prices have continued to soar.
