The Crickets helped set the template for future rock bands including 'The Beatles' with their tendency to write their own music as well as their use of guitar-based-drum arrangements.

"That'll Be the Day", written by Buddy Holly and Jerry Allison was The Crickets first hit single, reaching #1 on the US Billboard charts.

This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
