"You Turn Me On, I'm a Radio" was written and originally recorded by Canadian folk artist Joni Mitchell. American country artist Gail Davies released her version of it as a single in 1982. Davies established herself as a successful singer songwriter during the 1970s and 1980s, scoring numerous Top 10 and Top 20 Billboard hits. She was one of country music's most influential artists, becoming the genre's first female record producer.
