The New Vaudeville Band was formed in 1966 by Geoff Stephens who was a songwriter. The song "Winchester Cathedral" was inspires by the British hall music style of the 20s and 30s. In the US, it rose to number one and had global sales of over three million.
Peek A Boo was released in 1967 and peaked at number 72 in the US Billboard Charts.
