Kazakh documentary showcases role of horses in human development

Madrid, Apr 30 (EFE).- The documentary series "Equus, Story of the Horse," presented on Tuesday at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, explains the important role the animal played in the global expansion of ancient civilizations.
Throughout time, the horse has been one of the main means of transport for humans, which allowed nomadic people to travel and find new settlements.
The production, jointly produced by Kazakhstan and Canada, wanted to chronicle the animal's relevance as a determining factor, so their contribution to human development is not forgotten.
One of the producers, Nurbol Baimukhanov, told Efe that "thanks to the horse, nomads spread and reached other territories" and as a result there was a cultural exchange between different peoples.
