cyclone Fani intensified into a severe cyclonic storm on Monday evening and is likely to intensify further into a "very severe" cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours. The Centre has already released Rs 1086 crore in aid to the states that are likely to be affected by the landfall of the cyclonic storm

ఫోని తుపాను ప్రమాదం పొంచి ఉండడంతో బంగాళఖాతం తీర ప్రాంతాలను కల్గి ఉన్న నాలుగు రాష్ట్రాలకు ముందస్తు సహాయ చర్యల కోసం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం 1086 కోట్ల నిధులను విడుదల చేసింది. కేంద్రం విడుదల చేసిన నిధుల్లో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి 200 కోట్ల రుపాయలను కేటాయించింది.
