Trainz Railfanning Pt 222: East Coast Shinkansen, South Virginia Beach Station, High-Speed Freight Trains

In this Trainz Railfanning Video, we'll be visiting South Virginia Beach Station on the East Coast Main Line section of the American Shinkansen. This line also has high-speed freight trains being puller by Shinkansen locomotives.

0:19 A Shinkansen 500 Series running a southbound local train to Mexico City stops at South Virginia Beach, followed by a northbound Shinkansen 700 to New York and a Northbound Shinkansen E6 pulling a high-speed autorack freight train to Newark and finally, the gates go up, but the bells malfunction for six whole cycles.

Many more trains cross this pedestrian railroad crossing, which connects the parking garage with the station. Only southbound local trains stop here, but northbound and southbound trains on the Rocky Mount Shuttle MAGLEV stop here on their way to Cape Henry Lighthouse.
