Perspiration streaming down their foreheads and necks, the Zambians kick up a dance storm in the Indian summer heat!

The Zambian Cultural Dance Troupe (ZCDT) is a group of professional artists drawn from nine different professional community based cultural ensembles in Zambia with the view of supporting the 'One Zambia and Nation' motto, through art and culture.

The ZCDT has worked with different organizations both locally and worldwide including the Government of Zambia through National activities.

A 'Waka Waka' performance in Delhi by dance troupes from Seychelles, Zambia, Sudan, Ghana and Senegal at the African Festival in New Delhi. This happened on the 18th and the 19th of June 2012. African dances are well known for celebrating a zest for life and a close bond with nature. The event was held at the Kamani Auditorium Delhi!
