China's app about ‘greatness’ of President Xi hosts poetry recital to attract users

China's ruling Communist Party has been holding events to draw more users to a new app designed to teach users "Xi Jinping Thought" or the Chinese president's political theory that has been enshrined in the constitution. The Xuexi Qiangguo app launched in January features news on Xi's activities and his accomplishments and highlights quotes from his speeches.
