Shashi Tharoor suffers from head injury during Ritual At Kerala Temple . Congress leader Shashi Tharoor received six stiches on his head after he injured himself while offering prayers at a temple in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram, sources said. He was weighing himself on a giant scale as part of the "thulabharam" ritual in which a person sits on the scale against a mound of offerings like fruit and sweets, equal to the devotee's body weight. Kerala is celebrating its new year Vishu today, with people across the state visiting temples to offer prayers. Immediately after he got injured during the ritual, Mr Tharoor was taken to a hospital in the state capital, where after applying the six stitches the doctors said the Congress parliamentarian is out of danger.

शशि थरूर के सिर पर आई गहरी चोट, मंदिर में पूजा करते वक्त लगी चोट | केरल के तिरुवनंतपुरम से मौजूदा सांसद शशि थरूर एक मंदिर में पूजा के दौरान गिर पड़े. इसमें उन्हें गंभीर चोट आई है. इलाज के लिए उन्हें तिरुवनंतपुरम के जनरल अस्पताल में दाखिल कराया गया है. उन्हें माथे में गहरी चोट लगी है. इलाज कर रहे डॉक्टर के मुताबिक वे खतरे से बाहर बताए जा रहे हैं लेकिन माथे में उन्हें छह टांके लगे हैं. थरूर मंदिर में तुलाभरम पूजा कर रहे थे.
