Hailing from Onset, Ma, Plastic Angels consists of Jeff Lawson and Bethany Lawson. The duo met in 2013 and began writing music soon after. The result was a debut EP titled "Love in Hell" (2014) released under the band name Angry Ginger. Soon after the release, Angry Ginger and Bethany were nominated for four Limelight Music Awards; (runner up) New Artist of the Year, (runner up) Female Vocalist of the Year 2015, (nominated) Live Act of the Year and (nominated) Female Vocalist of the Year 2016. The EP received airplay all over New England as Jeff and Bethany performed as an acoustic songwriting duo.
In May 2016, the duo went to Brooklyn, NY to record with Grammy nominated producers Joel Hamilton and Francisco Botero (Highly Suspect, Pretty Lights, Aaron Neville) at Studio G Brooklyn. Showcasing a more alternative sound, they changed their name to Plastic Angels and released 'Kings of the World' in 2016. The EP recieved positive reviews with the Noise Boston, and Pete Silva of Soundcheck WHJY calling it "one of the finest indie releases to hit the airwaves this year."
After traveling throughout the east coast and CA to promote 'Kings of the World', the duo are gearing up to release their next EP 'Wake' in the Fall of 2018.
