VG Kannan of IBA on changes in banking system

Big changes to be ushered in banking system starting today. The major changes - a bank's exposure to a conglomerate to be capped at 25 percent of its capital while to an individual company it will be at 20 percent of bank's capital. As well in the cash credit at least 40 percent should be taken as a loan. VG Kannan, Chief Executive of Indian Banks' Association (IBA) shared his views and readings on the changes.
