Male Birth Control Pill Declared Safe and Effective

Male Birth Control Pill Declared Safe and Effective Male birth control has faced difficulties because men can produce up to 1500 sperm per second. But male options for pregnancy prevention are finally expanding. Although there are no male birth control pills on
the market, a new pill has been cleared as safe in clinical trials. The trials were completed at Los Angeles Biomed Research Institute and the University of Washington. The pills reduce hormones required for sperm production but have no adverse effect on the male sex drive. It could still be a while before male birth control pills become available. It will probably be 10 years before a commercial male contraceptive pill is commonplace.
