PM: We will consider replacing PAC chief

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has agreed to consider replacing Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairperson Ronald Kiandee with another lawmaker.

He said they would think about it and find a good candidate but at the moment he remains as the chairperson of PAC.

He was responding to a question on Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar's resignation from the PAC, which appeared to be in protest of Mahathir's decision to keep Kiandee in the role.
