Operating from 'The Cube', the UK Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is an industry body tasked with regulating the legal industry.
It has two main aims: To regulate it's members and to protect the reputation of the industry. It has no duty of care towards the client base, and will do anything to reduce liability in claims form the discretionary compensation scheme. Often it takes from the criminal compensation scheme funds to pay for it's own work!
