Jayme Closs‘ twisted kidnapper is desperate to talk to his teenage victim behind bars, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Jake Patterson, 21, who abducted the 13-year-old after shooting her parents dead in their Barron, Wisconsin home is now awaiting trial in prison. In a shocking telephone interview with WCCO’s Jennifer Mayerle, shown in the clip above, the suspected murderer admitted his feelings for the teen.
“I just love her,” Patterson said in a recorded phone call from Polk County Jail in Wisconsin.

In the prison phone call, Patterson reflected on the time he spent with Closs, who he allegedly forced inside his creepy cabin in Eau Claire Acres in Gordon, Wisconsin.
“We were just watching TV, playing board games, talking about stuff,” Patterson claimed. “We cooked a lot, everything we made was homemade.”
The accused kidnapper is in custody on two charges of first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Jayme’s parents, and one count of kidnapping.
After his arrest it was revealed that he threw a Christmas party while forcing Closs under a bed so she wouldn’t be seen.
As Radar readers know, Patterson confessed to dragging the teen into the trunk of his car after killing her mom and dad.
“I know what this is about, I did it,” Patterson told police after his arrest.
The evil suspect also explained to WCCO why he confessed.
“I just didn’t want to cause any more trouble, I guess,” he said.
Patterson waived his right to a preliminary hearing and is next scheduled in court on March 27, when he is expected to enter into a plea.
