President Moon calls for thorough investigation of sex scandals

President Moon Jae-in has called for thorough investigations into several high-profile alleged sex crimes in the country,... including the one involving the Burning Sun nightclub.
According to the top office, he gave the order after being briefed on the investigation by the ministers of Justice, as well as Interior and Safety.
"President Moon says the most important thing is to clarify the truth and resolve the suspicions of the public. All means should be used to reveal the entire truth."
The president said the alleged crimes involved people of privilege,... and that it appears that the prosecution and police deliberately supressed the truth.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice announced plans to extend its special committee's reinvestigation period by another two months.
