Londoners turned out in numbers for the St Patrick's Day parade today (March 17) as groups from many different backgrounds turned out for the Irish celebration.
Thousands lined the streets from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square where speeches were made, and a show with music and dance was given to the packed crowds in the square to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
Northern Irish actress Bronagh Waugh joined the London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign, which marched to promote women's choice, while London Mayor Sadiq Khan also made an appearance.
