Attack Against Himself Smollett entered his plea
on Thursday after being indicted
on 16 felony counts of disorderly
conduct by a grand jury in Chicago. The 'Empire' actor was previously charged with
staging a hate crime against himself but has
maintained his innocence from the beginning. He is currently out
on $100,000 bail. If convicted, Smollett could face
up to three years in prison. He would also have to pay a $25,000
fine for each of the 16 felony counts. Smollett's next court date
is set for April 17.
