DGCA Bans Boeing 737 from Plying to/from India; Ethiopian Airlines Crash, Indian Airspace
- 5 years ago
Despite the DGCA ordering all Indian Airlines to ground the Boeing 737 max 8, NewsX has learnt that spice jet is bending the rules about the deadline to its advantage. Despite clear security concerns & a ban by DGCA, spice jet isn't banning the Boeing 737 with immediate effect and is flying these Boeing planes as usual. In a meek explanation the spice jet has said that they will bar the Boeing 737 as per DGCA guidelines. Remember, the directorate general of civil aviation has announced that Boeing 737 max operations will stop from and to all Indian Airports. Additionally no Boeing 737 max aircraft will be allowed to enter or transit the Indian Airspace effective 4 pm today.
