Local low-cost airline Eastar Jet is suspending the use of its two Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes... amid safety concerns after two crashes involving the same model in six months. The planes will be grounded from Wednesday. The airline promised to make every effort to minimize inconvenience to customers. Eastar vowed to cooperate with the transport ministry to have the planes inspected before they fly again. Last weekend, a Boeing 737 Max 8 operated by Ethiopian Airlines crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all hundred-57 people onboard. Another case involve Indonesian carrier Lion Air, when the same model crashed into the Java Sea last October.
