'He's Just Not Worth It': Pelosi Says She Doesn't Support Impeaching Trump

Nancy Pelosi on Monday said she doesn't agree with impeachment calls for President Trump.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently said that it's "not worth" impeaching President Trump.  She made the comment in an interview with the Washington Post that was published on Monday.  When asked about the prospect of beginning proceedings for Trump's removal from office as some Democrats have suggested, Pelosi replied: "I'm not for impeachment...I've been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there's something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don't think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he's just not worth it." Trump also does not believe he should be impeached, though for different reasons.  "How do you impeach a president who has won perhaps the greatest election of all time, done nothing wrong (no Collusion with Russia, it was the Dems that Colluded), had the most successful first two years of any president, and is the most popular Republican in party history 93%?" he tweeted in January.   In another tweet, he wrote: "The Economy is one of the best in our history, with unemployment at a 50 year low, and the Stock Market ready to again break a record (set by us many times) - & all you heard yesterday, based on a phony story, was Impeachment. You want to see a Stock Market Crash, Impeach Trump!"
