Good afternoon, the season's worst toxic smog has finally cleared away for many areas, but stagnant air will boost dust levels in some parts of the central region as well as Daegu during the day.
A chilly morning will be followed by a mild afternoon with huge gaps of more than 10 degrees in most areas. There's plenty of sunshine and improved air quality but check the dust levels before going out for an afternoon stroll.
Daily highs will be similar to yesterday. Spring flowers started to make their appearance in the southern parts of the country, but if you plan to head out this Sunday, have an umbrella handy.
We have some welcome rain on the way on Sunday, rain will start on Jeju Island Saturday night, gradually spreading nationwide by Sunday and we will have normal air quality this weekend.
