The contact reveals himself to Alex as Captain Cross. He informs Alex that a man named Taggart is his key on the ship where Randall is. However, Taggart is preparing to leave Manhattan in a fleet of helicopters. Alex has to destroy these fleet of helicopters to stop Taggart from leaving the island.
