With the chorus mounting for Pachauri to be sacked, TERI's governing council has confirmed that Pachauri has been replaced from all posts from TERI and its University.
However it stopped short of sacking the man accused of sexual harassment. So will TERI end the 'leave' sham and sack their founder?
With past cases also piling up and the activists slamming both TERI and Pachauri, the question is whether Pachauri is so powerful that despite a huge outcry he still gets to exercise his clout and deny the victim a shot at a fair trial?
