Hapur panchayat orders 5 shoe-slaps to gangrape accused, victim to quit village

A bizzare incident has surfaced in Hapur of Uttar Pradesh where a panchayat has ordered mere 5 shoe-slaps to two accused of gangrape. Whereas the gangrape victim has been said to quit the village. Victim lodged complain in Police Station but before police could initiate any action, panchayat announced the bizzare punishment.
