Congress to work with JD(U) to take on NDA government in Parliament

The stage is set for a frosty winter session. Don't be too surprised if this session moves either at a glacial pace to legislate or is frozen in action. This is principally because the NDA's reversal in Bihar has convinced the opposition that the mandate has justified its critique of the government. Remember in the monsoon session the opposition led by the Congress derailed parliament accusing the government of betraying the poor. The marginalised and the farmers at the expense of the suited and booted. Sensing this the government today shot off a message to the opposition urging it not to make the mistake of beleiving that the Bihar mandate is a vote for its disruptionist politics. The opposition has scoffed at the BJP saying that it still hasn't realised that it is hopelessly out of synch with the public mood.
