Government can not ban the play 'Agnes of God', says BJP Minister Eknath Khadse

Maharashtra government not to ban Agnes of God. In a battle between freedom of expression and religious ideology, a Chrisitian outfit has sought a ban by the Maharashtra State government on a play titled 'Agnes of God'. The church has backed the outfit's call for a ban. However BJP Minister, Eknath Khadse gives green signal to the play saying the outfit should move the court instead. All set for its premiere today in Mumbai. The play shows a nun who gives birth to a child and claims she is a virgin.
