FTII row: I&B Ministry reaches out to FTII students on strike

In what could perhaps be the last and best attempt to end the ongoing stalement at the FTII, the I&B Ministry has reached out to the students union. The Joint Secretary in Information and Broadcasting Ministry has written a letter to the FTII students, saying the government is ready for unconditional talks. The letter - a copy of which is exclusively with NewsX - further goes on to say that the government won't accept any pre conditions from students, insisting that students must avoid posturing. The students have expressed their willingness to resume talks but no details have been finalised yet.
