Bengaluru activist slams corporators' splurge, Is it what you voted for?

At a time when the incidents of citizens falling prey to killer apathy of Bangalore Civic Corporation are on a high. The corporators in the city are busy unwinding in resorts in the garb of political work and splurging taxpayer's money yet again. The elections to the posts of Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be held on September 11. Congress and the JDS have joined hands to try and form a majority in BBMP council for which the corporators have been given a lavish stay in resorts for days so much so that their stay in luxury resorts has been longer than the visit to their respective wards. The cost of it all is pegged at around Rs 5 crore.
