MDMK to boycott June 27 bypoll to RK Nagar

After DMK and PMK, Vaiko-led MDMK on Monday announced boycotting the June 27 bypoll to Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency here, from where AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is contesting. A resolution to this effect was adopted at the party's High-Level Committee meeting held here. The decision had been taken considering that elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly, due next year, could be advanced to December this year, it said. Further, the party also alleged that the ruling party could engage in money distribution.
