The postmortem of the 28-year-old mentally challenged Nepalese woman found dead in a nearby village has revealed that she was raped and physically tortured before her death.
The police today formed a special investigation team (SIT) under DSP Amit Bhatia to probe the case. A cash reward of Rs 1 lakh has been announced for those providing specific information about the incident. The residents having any clue can call 9996781003 or 9996781016.
“The matter pertains to aggravated sexual assault and murder and is our top priority,” said Rohtak SP Shashank Anand.
