Indore DIG Rakesh Gupta announced Rs 10,000 reward for 22-year-old woman Nirmala Pandit for chasing and nabbing a chain snatcher.
Ravi Sharma, 28, was escaping after snatching her chain in Aerodrome area on Friday.
Nirmala Pandit, a resident of Somani Nagar locality, along with sister Janki, was on way to a mobile phone recharge shop. Mid way, however, a chain snatcher snatched Nirmala's gold chain and ran away.
Like any other woman, Nirmala too first cried for help, but the residents of her own locality remained mute spectators.
