Demonetisation anniversary: On the second anniversary of the demonetisation drive Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday asserted that the Modi government first targetted the black money outside India and asset holders were asked to bring this money back on payment of penal tax; those who failed to do so were persecuted under the black money act. Meanwhile, Congress retaliated and briefs the media over the loopholes generated by the Demonetisation.

आज नोटबंदी को 2 साल पूरे हो गए हैं....आज से ठीक 2 साल पहले पीएम मोदी ने 500 और 1000 के नोटों को बंद करने का ऐलान किया था....2 साल बाद भी आज नोटबंदी पर देश की सियासत गरम है....कांग्रेस देशभर में नोटबंदी के फैसले के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रही है...पूर्व पीएम मनमोहन सिंह ने मोदी सरकार पर फिर आरोप लगाया है कि नोटबंदी का फैसला बीमार सोच वाला मनहूस कदम था उधर वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने कहा कि नोटबंदी से देश को फायदा हुआ है...वहीं एमआईएम सांसद ओवैसी ने मोदी सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि लोग नोटबंदी के दर्द को कभी नहीं भूलेगा.
