Jayalalithaa had moved Madras HC to quash directive

Given the 'last chance' to appear before an economic offences court in Chennai on October 1, in connection with income tax cases, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa has moved the Madras high court on Monday to quash the directive. As an interim relief, she wanted the high court to stay the must-appear order of the trial court.
