Vijay Mallya's statement in London on meeting Arun Jaitley stirs controvery in India

अब बात विजय माल्या की खबर की जिसके लंदन में दिए बयान पर दिल्ली में सियासी घमासान मचा है....माल्या ने कल दावा किया था कि देश छोड़ने से पहले उसने संसद में वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली से मुलाकात की थी...माल्या ने दावा किया कि ये मुलाकात बैंक सेटलमेंट को लेकर हुई थी हालांकि माल्या ने बाद में सफाई दी और कहा कि उसकी बात का गलत मतलब निकाला गया...जेटली से कोई औपचारिक मुलाकात नहीं हुई थी....जेटली ने माल्या के बयान को गलत बताया...वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि राज्यसभा सांसद के तौर पर विजय माल्या संसद आते थे...एक दिन जब वो संसद से अपने कमरे की ओर बढ़ रहे थे तो सांसद के अधिकार का गलत इस्तेमाल करते हुए विजय माल्या पीछा करते हुए मेरे पास आए लेकिन कुछ भी बात करने से इंकार किया और कहा कि वो बैंक से बात करें,,,मैंने 2014 के बाद से कभी माल्या को मिलने का समय नहीं दिया,,,,,हालांकि इस पर सियासत गर्म है...कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने ट्वीट कर जेटली के इस्तीफे की मांग की...पहले आप माल्या का आरोप लगाने वाले और फिर सफाई वाला बयान सुनिए.

Vijay Mallya during the hearing of his extradition case in the UK came out and claimed that he met Finance Minister Jaitley before leaving India. FM Jaitley through a blog and later in a soundbyte slammed Mallya for making factually false statements and misrepresenting the truth. After FM Jaitley's rebuttal, Mallya rushed to cover up and claimed that his met Jaitley and other leaders in the central hall of the parliament and not in an officially scheduled meet. Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, has demanded an independent probe into the matter and has sought resignation from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Meanwhile, judge hearing Vijay Mallya's case in London has reserved verdict for December 10th.
