Rain disrupts normal life in Mumbai

Heavy rains in Mumbai hit several parts of the city on Friday morning putting the normal life in extreme troubles. The incessant rainfall was followed by water-logging due to which many people were restricted to their homes and the transport facility was also affected badly.

Local trains, the lifeline of Mumbai city, were also affected due to the rains as many pre-schedule trains had to be cancelled leaving the passengers stranded at different places. It is expected that the water will continue to pour for two more days. The Met has warned of heavy rainfall for the next 48 hours.

Places like Gokhale Nagar, Ghatkopar, Sayan station west, Dadar TT are facing an intense problem of water-logging, while Kurla west station, Malad, P d'mello road along with many other places also got water logged to a substantial height.
