Criteria for joining BJP is that -- candidate has to spell out reasons for joining BJP, the application has to be made at the local level, BJP leadership then submits a feedback to the state HQ, anyone with criminal antecedents rejected forthright, opposition leaders need to go through mandatory character check, post entry, all new joinees have to attend a training workshop.
