Tapas Pal has got self admitted to hospital

Actor-cum-Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal was admitted to Belle Vue Clinic on Sunday evening with high fever and blood pressure. Pal, who has been facing a deluge of criticism after his hate speech was aired on TV last week, was also suffering from an acute low back pain. He was being treated by his family physician, Sudhhakalyan Pal.
"His back pain is a chronic one and it has got worse over the last two days," said P Tandon, CEO, Belle Vue. "He has also been running a very high temperature. Pal hasn't improved much over the last 24 hours. He has not been able to take proper food either."
Since Parliament's budget session began on Monday, the Opposition feared Pal got himself admitted to hospital to save himself and his party from embarrassment over his controversial speech.
