Uddhav Thackeray now defends hike in rail fare

Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray made a U-turn on Monday from his earlier stance saying that the hike in rail fares were necessary for better amenities.

In the party's editorial mouthpiece, Saamna, Uddhav said that the Modi government had promised to bring good days for common people but the hike in rail fares was a compulsion to get better amenities by the Railways.

He said that government has to justify the hiked rail fares as the people are need to know the reason from the government.
